When I first began cooking for myself gluten free, beyond a hard boiled egg, I perused many gluten free cookbooks. I love the path created by Shauna Ahern, aka Gluten Free Girl, but a lot of ingredients she used weren’t accessible to me.
I found Nicole Hunn’s blog and books, and hers were recipes I could make. I had all of her cookbooks. I made the pretzel rolls and the Sally Lunn bread, both from Gluten Free on a Shoestring Bakes Bread, her third cookbook.
Her fourth cookbook, rewriting childhood treats to be gluten free, wasn’t for me. Very little of that would pertain to me, eating low carb, and I sold it, gaining a friend in the process. (Hi, Janna!)
The fifth cookbook she has written is now available in pre-release.
This is her “favorite” cookbook, and contains foods that can be made in ‘small bites’ or ‘big dishes’.
I am part of the launch team for this book, which will be released on October 25. Pre orders get access to some ‘extras’ including extra recipes. You can order your copy here.
